If you’re born between August 19 and 25, then you’re a Leo-Virgo cusp! Welcome to the team 🤜🤛
Let’s start with the basics, shall we? For you to understand how to balance these energies, it’s important that you know what you’re dealing with in astrology.
Leo-Virgo: The Cusp of Exposure (August 19-25)
So, you’re being influenced by the Sun (Leo) and Mercury (Virgo), which means you’re an incredible leader that communicates very clearly and pays attention to all details. You are extremely smart, a problem solver and you bring light and happiness to other’s lives. People, especially your employees, want to earn your respect since they admire you so much. Now… Not everything is rainbows and sunshine because all this can turn into extreme independence and secrecy when unbalanced.
As a Leo-Virgo Cusp, you have the passion and intensity of a Fire sign while maintaining the groundedness and stability of an Earth sign. This makes you a very determined person that can see the big-picture goals. Then, you go and chop them up into small steps to follow. That organisation not only brings peace to the Virgo side but also allows you to follow through with your big dreams. This brings you so much closer to your destined, desired success.
You fascinate everyone, as they see you like this sweet fun innocent child… *cough cough* I said they see you that way, doesn’t mean it’s the truth ’cause with all that passion… Let’s just say that they shouldn’t judge a book by its cover… You can be a bit picky (in a good way) with the people you truly let in your life. You have very high standards, so only those who pass your tests can see yourself completely and enjoy your loyalty, kindness and the love of your huge heart.
Sometimes, the introverted and extroverted side enter a war. Like I said in the Zodiac Cusps general post, there’s one side saying “be nice, be calm, be controlled, be quiet, be invisible” and another screaming “EXPRESS YOUR FREAKING ASS RIGHT NOW! PEOPLE NEED TO SEE YOU. YOU’RE MEANT TO SHINE B*TCH!!!“. The good part is that the outgoing nature of Leo (that sometimes can be a bit too much) is smoothed by the Virgo side. That modest, gentle attitude makes you much more approachable.
How to survive being a Leo-Virgo Cusp
Ladies and gentleman, the moment you’ve been waiting for… How the heck do you balance your energies and don’t freak out?
A lot of it starts with self-care. It’s important that you respect yourself and that you remember that it’s okay to be a lunatic screaming at yourself in the mirror for making a scene over who ate the last pringle.
When things aren’t balanced, self-expression could be a problem. There’s a tendency to show up as a know-it-all or as a my-opinion-doesn’t-matter-so-I-won’t-say-anything. These influences can make you loud, rude and bossy, so it’s important that you take a deep breath and connect with the gentle and humble Virgo within and let it all out in a kind way. Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable to those around you. You’ll see that you’re understood, respected and your relationship will grow and deepen so much that you’ll forget you ever had any anxiety about opening up! Of course, until that situation shows up again…
Another thing is that you set tough goals and you like things done a particular perfect way. This makes it hard for you to trust that others will have the attention to detail as you do. Give your friends, family and coworkers a little room for imperfection and learn to delegate and trust others with responsibilities. Don’t forget about yourself too! You are your own toughest critic, so try to learn to make some mistakes and keep your expectations realistic.
Call in the neighbour
When Leo is desperate for all that attention and recognition, call in Virgo and say “Shush now, I see you and I’m so proud of you!“. Make a list of all the things you are proud of and try to detach from the outcome. This is very beneficial for the Virgo side too and all that perfection.
When Virgo is being a maniac, full of stress and anxiety, call in Leo and say “Honey… You’re a badass and you got this under control!“. Stop working, put some upbeat music on, dance away, release control and let yourself free! Then, get back to work with confidence and bad b*tch attitude.
Sometimes they’re both acting crazy at the same time. When that happens, get some alone time where you have fun with yourself and do things that light you up. It would be awesome if those things would be out in nature or with animals. That way, both birds have something to focus on.
